There was a girl in my class that pitched an idea for a child friendly airline, and she had this really cute little  bumble bee as part of her Logo, so I wrote a quick poem for it on the spot and gave it to her, to go with the child friendly part of the airline,  she sent me the bee so I could use it for my blog, i chose the font and made its flight pattern:)

This is a t-shirt design I did for an organization one of my teachers is starting, its called AMWILD its about wild life and art and music, it's currently under way, so I hope that he is able to use this design. You all know how much I love Polar Bears:)

I forgot to post this poem, i wrote it for halloween, and I got busy and forgot about it, its pretty brutal....so BE WARE!!!! Muahahhahaha!!:)

Steve's Pumpkin Brain

There was a pumpkin that had a brain instead of seeds and mush.

When Halloween comes, he runs and hides in a bush.

You would too if someone was coming to steal your mind,

And leave you with nothing but an empty pumpkin rind.

It wouldn’t be so bad if they would carve a smile on your face.

But no, they carve evil eyes & a mouth just so they can decorate their place!

This pumpkin hid successfully like this for 12 years every Hallows Eve.

His name was not Jack, it was Stephan, and he likes to be called Steve.

One day, on a leap year, Halloween came early

When Steve finally realized, he ran for the bushes in a hurry.

It was too late though, he was spotted by a masked little boy,

The kid was so excited for pumpkin carving, his heart filled up with joy.

He grabbed Steve and took him home to get ready to carve,

He wanted to do it before he ate candy, and he was beginning to starve!

So with a hurry, he cut a hole in Steve’s head and then Steve passed out from the pain.

Soon after the boy also passed out when he realized that he pulled out Steve’s brain!

So, my friend wants me to design a logo for her website, Seattle Scenester, its a site that would tell about the local night life in Seattle as far as the underground music scene goes, I would life your professional opinions and also the non professional ones! tell me the one you like the most, the colorful ones aren't necessarily the actual colors used, think more about the way they look instead of the colors and get back to me!! ...To talk about them a little bit, the first one is like the power button but with the Seattle Space needle in the middle, the other ones I just wanted to have an upside down heart in it, but also there is a back to back upper case S's i like these because they aren't so apparent immediately:)

This is from some type project for school that I had to make an image using nothing but type, so this is what I did, A parrot. I'm just chillin in my room tonight, workin on my portfolio. I have a book that I wrote and illustrated...well, it's the story of the Pied Piper I just wrote it as one of my little poems, just tryin to think of how to get all of the pages on here with out it looking cluttered! plus I don't wanna be that guy that writes poems!:)

  I have a contemporary art class and for the class, for homework each week we have to replicate the artist of the week. This past week was Mariko Mori, she basically just puts herself into a fantasy type situation. I have to admit, I am not a fan of this type of art. I threw this together in about 10 minutes, I kinda just felt like being a smart ass and make my fantasy really wierd:) Original photo by Matt Lingo

Well, I guess i'm gonna post a new one since it's midnight, It was JP's birthday about an hour ago, now it's Andy's birthday, happy birthday guys!!  I decided that I should post the footdown flyer that I made, the bar didn't use it, so I took out the dates and made it into a rad flyer with glitter in it, because seriously who doesn't love glitter!:) If you want one, just let me know, I have only a few left but i'll make some more if you want. To explain to those of you that don't frequent The Ruby Room or attend the monthly ritual dance party known as FootDown, it's a huge party and most of the attendees like to drink the Philadelphia  special "Phili Special". I forgot to mention, this is not a substitute for my website, eventually, I will have one when I have a design for it that I feel comfortable with. Today I am working on logos for myself, i've come up with about a hundred, I don't like any of them yet, one is close, so i'll post it below.

        Oh! I wanted to also post the poem that I read to Dan and Danielle at their wedding, I know that not everyone was lucky enough to be invited, and unfortunately, It was not recorded! I also designed a card, but someone said that I should read it as a speech, and it was a huge success at the reception and I'm really glad that I could ad to such a great night, thanks again Dan and Danielle, and congratulations!

I am excited to finally start a blog that people will hopefully be interested in. I am going to attempt to chronicle my my ongoing efforts into becoming a successful graphic designer and human being! For those of you that are reading this and did not know that I am a graphic designer, i am attempting to correct this effective immediately! I have come to realize that if i don't put myself out there and become competitive, I will never make it in this sad, cruel, lonely world:)...

That being said the first thing I would like to show you guys is my brief attempt at video editing! I used a cheap camera and After Effects, a video editing program that I love to Work with, the concept was a fake bicycle trick video/trailer, I edited the video and wrote the "script" if you will, and chose a super cheesy metal song to go with it:) My thanks to Mike Lashua for starring and Jenamindtricks for filming some of the shots that I starred in, enjoy!
